1. Who provides the service

The practice is operated by DeFi Consulting Kft., a company registered in Hungary at 1027 Budapest, Bem József utca 6. fszt., under company registration number 01-09-394489 and tax number 27553192-2-41 (EU VAT number HU27553192). The advisory work is carried out by Petra Klinger. Where these terms say “we”, they mean the company; where they say “she”, they mean Petra Klinger.

By using this website, submitting an application, or entering into any communication with us, you accept the terms set out below.

2. What the work is, and what it is not

The service is private advisory and educational work concerned with the nervous system patterns that shape how a person works, relates to others, and lives in their body.

It is not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, counselling, or medical treatment, and it is not a substitute for any of them. Petra Klinger is a researcher and private practitioner. She is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, counsellor, or medical professional, and she does not diagnose or treat illness of any kind.

The service is for adults. Anyone under eighteen may take part only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Applying and being accepted

Entry is by written application. A limited number of clients are taken on at any one time, and an application does not oblige us to accept you. Every application is read and answered, including where the answer is no.

If your situation calls for clinical care rather than advisory work, you will be told so directly and will not be taken on.

4. Fees and payment

There is no public price list. The fee, the scope and the duration are agreed with you in writing before anything begins, and you will know the shape of the work before you commit to it.

Fees are stated in euro. The figure agreed with you is the total you pay, including any value added tax that is due. Where you are contracting as a business inside the European Union and the reverse charge applies, this is stated on the invoice. Payment is made in advance by bank transfer, Stripe, or Revolut. Where the work is arranged as individual sessions, a session is confirmed once payment has been received. Invoices are issued for every payment.

5. Cancellation, rescheduling, and your right to withdraw

For individual sessions: a cancellation or reschedule made more than 48 hours in advance is free of charge. Within 48 hours, half the fee is retained. Within 24 hours, or where you do not attend, the full fee is retained. Exceptions in genuine emergencies are at Petra Klinger's discretion.

Where the work is arranged as a block or a programme, the cancellation terms are set out in the written agreement for that engagement and take the place of the paragraph above.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw from it without giving a reason. If you ask us to begin the work within that period and we do, you may still withdraw, but you will owe a proportionate amount for what has already been delivered. Once the work has been fully performed at your express request within the fourteen days, the right to withdraw is exhausted. To withdraw, write to info@petraklinger.com.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own decisions and actions, during the work and after it. You agree not to use this work in place of urgent psychological or medical care, and to seek that care where it is needed.

The work asks you to look at things that may contradict what you believe about yourself. Taking part is your choice, and you may stop at any point.

7. Confidentiality

Everything you say is confidential, and that includes anything Petra Klinger writes or teaches. Nothing is shared unless the law requires it, or you have given explicit consent, for instance where an organisation has commissioned the work and a report has been agreed with you in advance.

Sessions are not recorded unless both of you agree to it beforehand.

8. Intellectual property

The frameworks, methods, written material and tools used in the work remain our intellectual property. They are shared with you for your own use and may not be copied, distributed, taught, or reproduced without written permission.

The name Petra Klinger, the signature mark, and the contents of this website are protected by copyright and trade mark law.

9. Use of this website

This site is for people aged eighteen and over. You agree to use it lawfully, and not to attempt to damage, reverse engineer, or misuse it or its contents. Content, services and availability may change over time.

10. Outcomes

No particular outcome is promised or guaranteed. The work depends on what you bring to it, and results differ from person to person. We are not responsible for how you choose to apply what you take from it.

11. Health

Nothing offered here is a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified health provider. If you are in psychological distress or facing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services. This work is educational and developmental in nature and is intended to sit alongside other forms of care, never to replace them.

12. Liability

The website and the services are provided as they are and as available. We take care over accuracy but do not guarantee that the site will always be uninterrupted, secure, or free of error, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use or from being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Ending the arrangement

We may suspend or end access to the services or the website where a client behaves abusively or harmfully, repeatedly breaks the payment or scheduling terms, or misuses the material shared with them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Hungarian law, and disputes fall to the competent courts of Hungary. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country in which you live.

15. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. The terms that apply to work already agreed are the ones in force when it was agreed.
